HOdo’s tire brand wins technology innovation award

Jiangsu General Science Technology Co won the Technology Innovation Award at the seventh Summit Forum for China Eucommia Industry Development in Hunan, Nov 28. It’s the only tire brand in domestic to win the award.
The modern species of Eucommia is known as the "hard rubber tree", while its latex is easy to crystallize at normal temperature and its amount in the bark is relatively small, about 4 percent by weight.
After years of unremitting efforts, Jiangsu General Science Technology Co applied Eucommia’s latex to tread rubber successfully, making abrasive resistance increase 30 to 40 percent. Vehicles with such tires are expected to run 300,000 kilometers.
